The Thrive Hearing Control app gives the user full control over their hearing aids using their smartphone. Like a TV remote, it lets people adjust volume, switch memories and manage other features that hearing aids couldn’t do until now.
Further updated for enhanced usability and performance, users can easily view and manage their health information with the Thrive Hearing Control app and receive daily feedback on their progress by viewing their Wellness Score. This full-featured, user-friendly app provides users with full control of their Evolv AI, Livio Edge AI, Livio AI or Livio hearing aids, as well as allowing them to see activity progress via the Activity Score and the benefits of wearing hearing aids to their mental fitness via the Engagement Score.

The overall Wellness Score is a combination of both Engagement and Activity tracking with the ability to reach a score of 200 each day. Engagement tracking is comprised of three segments to reflect how the patient is using their hearing aids: Use, Interaction and Environment. Activity tracking is comprised of progress toward three daily goals for physical activity: Steps, Exercise and Stand.
Thanks to the power of AI, this always-learning, first-of-its-kind speech enhancement feature uses the wearer’s iOS smartphone to deliver an unprecedented experience to those with moderate loss of 50 dB HL or greater.
Available in both Advanced and Basic modes of the Thrive app — using integrated sensors, our 2.4 GHz hearing aids can detect when a hearing aid wearer falls and send alert messages to selected contacts. And with recent improvements and expanded datasets, Fall Alert now provides even more accuracy in detection that ever before.
Thrive Assistant is an app-based feature that provides helpful information to patients about their 2.4 GHz hearing aids and accessories. Depending on the user’s hearing aid model, this feature can be accessed via voice-activation, a double tap to their hearing aid (if programmed to do so), and/or by tapping on a button within the Thrive app. Once the feature is activated, the user can then ask questions, state commands or request a reminder. Below are some examples of a question, command or reminder a user can ask:
• Question: "How do I customize my hearing aid settings?"
• Command: "Mute my hearing aid"
• Reminder: "Remind me to walk my dog at 7pm."
Thrive Assistant will then find the answer, follow through with the command or set the requested reminder.
Using Thrive Assistant and their 2.4 GHz hearing aids, patients can locate their lost or misplaced smartphone by having it ring. Simply double tap the hearing aid and ask phrases like "Where is my phone?" or "I can’t find my phone." An audible tone will play on the patient's smartphone in order to locate it.
This first-to-world integrated feature helps patients easily communicate with people who speak other languages via an easy-to-use translation tool in the Thrive app in 27 available languages!
It's closed captioning for real world situations. Conversations are transcribed on to the user's smartphone screen. They then have the option to save, message, copy or email the transcribed text.
Provides a quick, convenient way for patients to analyze their hearing aid system's performance. The patient can run diagnostics on their own on various components of their hearing aids, including microphones, receivers, sensors and the circuit.
A custom memory that boosts the frequency response in certain channels to help users better understand someone wearing a face mask.
Edge Mode is also a great option for Evolv AI and Livio Edge AI wearers, as this feature uses AI to instantaneously optimize speech audibility to offset communication challenges presented by background noise, face masks and social distancing.
Users can set up reminders for appointments, taking medications, prescription refills or other personal tasks. It can be set up to receive visual reminder notifications on a smartphone and/or audible reminder notifications streamed from a smartphone through the hearing aids.
